Использование общего ядра для поддержки студентов с ограниченными возможностями в STEM
As developed so far, the Common Core allows for students to take a deeper meaning out of mathematics at each grade level as they progress through school. Looking at the standards for mathematical practice, STEM allows for students with disabilities to develop a deeper meaning of the math concepts. By having a hands-on, meaningingful application for the concepts students begin to take abstract ideas and make them more concrete. Once this transference has been made with the STEM activity, it also relates back to the regular classroom material.
The Common Core provides the stepping stones for teachers to allow students with disabilities to MODEL mathematics, USE tools, and GAIN skills in decoding and decontextualizing.
