The judge did not listen to them and released Flagang on bail of 50 thousand euros. In December 2007, Flaming was released, but all charges were dropped.
And also, under the threat of a sentence, his friend, journalist Georges Flapof, was imprisoned. His report, published on November 23, 2007 in Le Soire, was at the center of a scandal because it was blocked by the police. The journalist demanded that the police not interfere and included him in the report.
On May 24, 2008, new documents about the violence committed against Flaming were released. It was established that in 2006, at the age of 16, he was raped, and at the age of 23 he was kidnapped.
